We are bringing you something very special for our December Coffee of the Month. We have selected our finest beans from our last November trip to Huehuetenango, Guatemala, and stored them in used bourbon barrels for 30 days. After roasting and tasting, we found these to be one of our most unique and tasteful offerings!

Altitude: 1800-2000 meters
Variety: Bourbon, Catuai, Caturra
Soil: Clay Mineral
Process: Fully Washed and Sun Dried
Cupping Notes: Medium body and bright acidity. Notes of brown sugar with fruity undertones of cocoa, oak and that wonderful hint of bourbon.
Roast Level: Medium

Our Huehuetenango coffee beans, known for their bright acidity and notes of toffee and chocolate, have taken a 30-day plunge into the depths of used bourbon barrels. The result? About our Guatemala Coffee Beans:  This coffee represents a collaboration between the local farmers and Unitrade Coffee, a dedicated export company in Huehuetenango. Many of the producers cultivate coffee on just two acres of land, intercropping with corn and beans for personal use. Unitrade not only processes the coffee centrally but also supports local families through the CoffeeCare initiative, which offers essential programs in education, nutrition, and healthcare for children.
