Irish Coffee

Perfect for those cozy cold nights, Irish Coffees are made for drinking while cuddled up in blankets sitting next to a fire. Easy to make, you can adjust the alcohol level to your liking. For an extra kick of flavor, we have added in a shot of your homemade Coffee Liqueur!

Ingredients (per drink)

  • 1-1/2 oz Irish Whiskey
  • 1/2 oz  homemade Coffee Liqueur
  • 6 oz freshly-brewed espresso or other dark coffee - keep it warm
  • 1 oz heavy cream
  • Whipped cream (for topping, optional)
  • Dusted cocoa powder (for topping, optional)
  • Cinnamon stick (for stirring, optional)

Directions

Heat up cup of water until it starts to steam. Pour into a coffee mug. Swirl around to heat up the mug. Repeat as necessary for each mug.

Pour whiskey and liqueur into the now warmed mug, fill with coffee. Use cinnamon stick to mix everything up.Top with whipped cream and dusted cocoa powder.
